Field coat

This is a piece of work created over a year. I bought a green coat on our home search in North Wales and when we moved into our new home in West Wales I lay the coat in our field and documented its decay. The coat symbolised my arrival in Wales, moving from South East England to West Wales. The decaying garment explores how one arrives home, lands in a place, puts down roots and becomes embedded in a place.
