Personal Statement
My work is a combination of sculpture, fashion, jewellery and product design. The cross over of such disciplines and the blurring of these conventional creative boundaries, is something that i find stimulating, i enjoy making work that is familiar but cannot be placed. In the studio or street i am mainly inspired by the internal/psychological and external/physical worlds that we exist in. i make work because i enjoying questioning our body's relationship with objects and space. The items i create are often part of a collection or series, they are sculptures that can be worn and they sit somewhere between being jewellery and prosthetic limbs.
My creations aid, assist, adorn and embellish the body.
